With everything that’s going on around the world by way of war, terrorism, break ups, depression, the economic crisis and what not, it seems that any psychologist or psychiatrist would encourage speaking about your troubles and not keep it bottled up. Well of course everyone knows that bottled up problems will probably lead to mental disorders and let’s face it, not everyone is going to go see a shrink. We’ll finally have more rapists, suicide, murders, etc etc. But WHO do you go talk to?? Why would anyone want to listen to EVERYTHING that you say?? Maybe they will listen for a while but no one can listen full time. It complicates all relationships, except the one that you have with your shrink cause they will walk into the bank with your problems and cash it by the hour. Just when everyone thought the internet would make a good place to go belt out your problems comes censorship. (WHAT??!!!?!) 

You cannot complain about any government or legal entity, talk about religion, drugs, sex or terrorism(?!?) and you may not, under any circumstance, talk about all the above in relation to one another. Why?? What is wrong with that I ask you?! Do not offend people? Yes, we get it. But isn’t everyone entitled to their own opinion?? Let’s face it, if the governments were all fine and dandy why would anyone complain about the inflation, the taxes and the bloody power cuts? If they could keep it in their pants a bit and not watch porn when they are supposed to be discussing issues like, gee, i don’t know, POVERTY?, ECONOMY?, BLOODY HIGH TAXES ?? why would anyone (censored profanity) about the country/governments?  

Apparently, you can’t even come home from work after a rough day and tweet about the inefficiency of the organization without being JAILED (i heard) and fired for it. Who did it happen to?? A few chaps from Air India who had the audacity to tweet about the damn inefficiency of the management. Atrocious i tell you! How dare they complain about work?? Who does that anymore? No one in their sane mind who are being paid, say maybe once in 4 months would ever say things like that! Why would they?? Not like there is inflation when you’re not being paid. Not like you have a house to pay for, gas to pay for, perhaps even tuition for children to pay for and also those amazing electricity bills to pay for. 

There is no way anyone would want to be careful about putting all this on the internet. Everyone knows the truth as it is. Discussing alternatives to slightly relieve a stress addled mind or looking for cartoons depicting everything that sucks does not, in any way, affect anyone. Why censor all this? What is the point? Are we not allowed to voice our opinions any more? What happened to the right to speech? We studied that in our 8th Standard Civics. If there is no right to speech, does that mean we’re all going back to being slaves? That’s how I see it. Or like Pink Floyd said, we’re just being turned into “another brick in the wall” . 

There is no way censoring the internet will help anyone. It will only make the people doing it look like a bunch of Hitler wannabes. 

P.s.- This is a blog. I’m not sure if people can reply but to the “officials” who are seeing this, please don’t arrest me or fine me or hinder my living in anyway. I know most of you agree with this unless you are the ones who came up with the idea of curbing the Freedom of Speech. Thank you.
